| Over the past 10 years Rick and
I have not been very impressed with the Shimano®
Salt water rods. They just seemed to fall short of the
Southern Californian Salt water needs by being too wimpy, or
just fish like an old broom stick. I can honestly say that my
jaw dropped when I first saw and held the New Teramar™
series of rods. Shimano®
uses a TC(4) construction for these rods. TC(4) uses
IM-7 graphite which is wrapped using a double inner horizontal
layer of advanced, dynamic fibers with an inner and outer
spiral of high modulus graphite. This give these rods an
extremely durable, crisp and light weight rods. These rods
also feature Fuji's® New Concept Alconite guides, Fuji® seats
and Shimano® backs this rod with a Limited Lifetime
Over-The-Counter Replacement Warranty!!! ..... Gosh You
Gotta love this rod!!!!!
